The Republic Tigers won four games straight on their way to a Blue Division championship at the Blue & Gold Tournament last week. The Tigers entered the tournament as the second-seeded team in the Blue Division.

The Republic Lady Tigers won their third tournament in the month of December, and their biggest so far, with four straight wins in the Pink & White Lady Classic. Republic (2) beat unseeded Aurora, Lebanon (7), and Grain Valley (1) to capture the title.

Nicholson named tournament MVP, averaged 28.3 points per game
For the second straight season, the Ash Grove boys’ basketball team is the Morrisville Tournament champions, after their 47-37 win over Chadwick at Morrisville on Saturday, Dec. 3.
