Ash Grove claims best player, coach in conference

The Ash Grove girls basketball team recently earned impressive postseason recognition within their conference following a successful season. Senior Kennedi Climer was named the Southwest Conference Player of the Year, while head coach Bryan Dean was named Southwest Conference Coach of the Year.
Also earning honors were Khloe Moad, first team, Emma Eagleburger, second team and Brittany Gilliland, second team.
Climer and Moad were also each named to the all-district team for Class 2, District 13.
On the boys side, Ash Grove sophomore Sam Moreland earned an honorable mention in the Southwest Conference for his play.
