Ash Grove's Serenity Valley sees new homes being constructed, more to come

New houses are in the process of being built in Ash Grove, while some new, future residences have already been completed. The homes, which are located in Serenity Valley are being constructed under the supervision of Bill Turner, a project manager from Everton. Turner has already finished construction on, and sold, two of the homes and has three more underway, which is a welcome change considering the stagnation in Ash Grove residential development in recent years.
The construction has been going well according to Turner, who has been developing the subdivision where many lots have remained vacant for years. The new homes being constructed there are anywhere from about 1,650 square feet at the smallest house to 1,875 at the largest, and feature three-car garages. Turner said that the houses that are still under construction should be done sooner, rather than later.
"[We will] hopefully have the ones we are working on done in a couple of months," Turner said.
Turner is currently full-speed ahead with construction and says that there have been no major setbacks to this point. The two homes that he has finished construction on, have already been sold and occupied. Currently, the three homes that are under construction have not been purchased, as Turner prefers to wait until construction is finished before selling the houses.
Turner plans to continue his work developing Serenity Valley with four future projects soon to be underway, but said that he does not plan to begin construction on them until he finishes his current projects.
"I have four more lots in Serenity Valley. I will probably start on them when I get done with the one I’m working on now," he said.
