Barbara Marie Hicks

Barbara Marie Hicks was born on July 27, 1940 in Oakland, Calif., and passed away on Dec. 29, 2019 at Birch Pointe Health and Reha- bilitation after spinal surgery with medical complications. She was preceded in death by her parents Philip Zimmerman and Gloria Marie Zimmerman, and a brother Philip Zimmerman. She is survived by her husband, Ted (60 years of marriage); daughter, Melissa; sons, Keith and Jason; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and brothers Eugene, Douglas and Kurt.
Hicks enjoyed cooking, going to garage sales, watch- ing her favorite shows, working out, and watching the weather.
Graveside services for Hicks were on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Delaware Cemetery, Nixa, under the direction of Meadors Funeral Home.
