Betty Mae Eubanks

Betty Mae Eubanks, 93, of Republic, passed away
on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019 in Sonshine Manor,
where she had been a resident for many years. She
was born on Feb. 25, 1926, the daughter of John and
Vada (Blankenship) Phillips.
She was united in marriage to
Clyde A. Eubanks on March 1, 1949.
Eubanks was a faithful member
of the Church of Christ in Republic
before she became ill. In her younger
days Betty taught piano lessons, and
was an artist, having an art shop
business out of her home.
She was preceded in death by her
husband of 43 years, Clyde, on Oct. 2, 1992; a son,
John; a daughter, Lynn Rea; and her parents.
Eubanks is survived by a son and his wife, Thomas
“Tom” and Arlene Eubanks; a daughter-in-law, Kathy
Eubanks; five grandchildren, Stacy Eubanks, Lisa and
husband Gerry Magana, Carrie and husband Ben Cain,
Gari and husband Terry Aiken, and Gabe Davis; and
nine great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on
Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019 in Meadors Funeral Home,
Republic. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday,
Sept. 5, 2019 in Clio Cemetery, Jenkins. Family
