Carolyn Brashers

Carolyn Brashers, Kimberling City, daughter of Garland “Preacher” and Reathel (Garner) Brown, was born Jan. 13, 1948 in Springfield, and departed this life on Feb. 19, 2020 at the age of 72. 
Brashers and her husband Bruce had been residents of the Kimberling City area for 35 years, moving from Republic. 
Brashers was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Sandra Owen.
Survivors include: her husband, Bruce Brashers of Kimberling City; son, Randy Brashers and wife, Nancy of Branson; daughter, Angie Clark and husband, John of Lampe; sister, Glenda Dunn and husband, Steve of Springfield; brother, Robert Brown and wife, Margaret of Fair Play; brother-in-law, Ronald Owen of Republic; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 1-2 p.m. at New Testament Christian Church Reeds Spring, with memorial service following at 2 p.m. with Pastor Larry Winfree officiating.
