CHARLES BLAINE LEWIS

Charles Blaine Lewis, 66, of Crane, passed away with his loving family by his side April 2, 2023. He was born in Reeds Spring on Aug. 18, 1956, to George and Grace (Cutbirth) Lewis, the middle of eight children in the home.
He attended schools in Abesville, Hurley and Spokane. On Sept. 19, 1980, he married Dona Cowan and they shared 43 amazing years together.
Lewis worked in the construction field for many years. He also farmed beef cattle and grew alfalfa. He was a faithful follower of Christ and had perfect attendance for the past 18 years at Wrights Chapel.
Lewis is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Rod, Denny and Rickie Lewis.
He is survived by wife Dona, sister Edwina Williams and husband James, brothers Bob Lewis and his wife Beverly, Bill Lewis and wife Debbie and Randy Lewis and wife Dawn; three special friends who were like children to Blaine, Ryan Conrad and wife Brittany and their children, Cortney Smith and husband Eric and their children and Aaron Gamble and wife Shauna and their children, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wrights Chapel. A visitation is scheduled for 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Meadors Funeral Home in Clever. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2023, with Pastor Rick Flood officiating. Lewis was laid to rest in Wright Cemetery just south of Clever.
