Charles Walter Presley, Jr.

Charles Walter Presley, Jr., 65, of Aurora, passed away at 10:54 a.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2020, at the Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was born May 7, 1954, in Kankakee, Ill., the son of Charles Walter and Edna (Weismann) Presley, Sr.
Presely was a 1973 graduate of Aurora High School and he worked as a custodian with the Republic School Systems in Republic. He was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Monett.
Presley is survived by two nieces, Peddie Ormsby and Lisa Mobley, both of Aurora; two nephews, Gary Mobley and his wife, Charlet, of Willard, and Jerry Mo- bley of Neosho; and several great nieces and nephews.
Presley was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Edna, sister, Pat Mobley and brother, Dale Presley. A visitation, under the direction of the Crafton- Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora was held from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Monett, with a funeral service following at 2 p.m. Burial followed at the Maple Park
Cemetery in Aurora. Memorial donations may be made payable to the St.
