Cleo W. Link

Cleo W. Link, 92, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021 at his home. Link was born in Dodson , Mont. on May 28, 1928 to Samual Bert Link and Marion Barnes Link. They relocated to Ava in 1938, where he graduated from Ava High School in 1945. He attended Draughon's Business College and then began his employment at Harry Cooper Supply Company in Springfield in 1946, retiring after 48 years of employment.
He was proceeded in death by his wife of 60 years, Oneta Ruth Link, his parents, Samual Bert Link and Marion Barnes Link, his brother, Leo Duane Link, all of Springfield, and his sister, Joyce Pollard and husband Harry, of Richland, Wash.
He is survived by his sons, Darrell W. Link and wife Donna, and Dennis R. Link and wife Lori, of Mt. Vernon. He is also survived by six loving grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his sister-in-law Jean Link of Republic, brother-in-law Jim Grainger and wife Beth of Wichita, Kan.; nieces Donna Jansen and husband Larry of Billings, Marci Ornelas and husband Michael of Portland, Ore. and nephew Lyndel Link and wife Jody, of Republic, and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Services at Greenlawn East Funeral Home, 3540 East Seminole Street, Springfield.
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Jan 25, and the funeral at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan 26. Interment in at Greenlawn North Cemetery, Springfield.
