Coy Rex Cox

Coy Rex Cox, 78, of Billings, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, peacefully in his home, with family at his side. He was born July 18, 1940, in Harrison County, the son of Coy Leo and Pauline (Coulson) Cox.
He was united in marriage to Connie Mae Everhart on July 18, 2002.
Cox was employed for many years as a front-end loader for Martin Marietta, a sand and gravel company in Iowa. After moving to Missouri, Cox worked doing lawn care in the Waste Water Department for the city of Republic.
He enjoyed automobile care, yard work, and tinkering in the garage. Cox loved to travel and taking long drives to see the scenery.
His parents; three brothers; and a step son, William Kirk, Jr. preceded him in death.
Cox is survived by his wife, Connie; three children and their spouses, Darrin and Denise Cox, Rob and Teresa Cox, and Angela Cox; four grandchildren; a sister and her husband, Rosy and Wallace Parman; nieces and nephews; and many other extended family and friends.
A memorial service was at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, Sept. 21, 2018 in Meadors Funeral Home, 101 NE Pine, Billings, MO 65610. Family and friends may share online condolences at www.meadorsfuneralhome.com.
