DAVID M. FRALEY

David M. Fraley, 93, of Springfield passed away Nov. 14, 2022.
Fraley was born April 4, 1929, in Webb City, to Frank Fraley and Martha Ethel White Fraley. He grew up in Joplin and attended Joplin Senior High, where he distinguished himself as an R.O.T.C. officer and track star.
David and Betty were sweethearts from the sixth grade on and were wed on Oct. 20, 1947. They were married for over 70 years before Betty’s passing in 2018. From that union were born four children.
Services were Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022, at the Greenlawn South Funeral Home with visitation at noon and services following at 1 p.m. Interment was at Maple Park Cemetery, Springfield. Memorial donations may be made to the David and Betty Fraley Scholarship Fund at Missouri State University, 901 S. National, Springfield, MO 65897 Attn: Karl Schmidt.
