Donna Rae Sterling

Donna Rae Sterling, 83, of Bolivar, passed away, Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022. She was born in Ash Grove, on Oct. 18, 1938, to Cletos and Margie Iona (Lewis) Hagar. On Oct. 29, 1960, Donna and Bob Sterling were united in marriage and shared over 61 years together.  
Sterling was raised in the Ash Grove community and graduated high school from there. She and Bob moved to Ava, and raised their family. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church, Ava and was active as long as her health allowed.
Sterling was preceded in death by her parents, Cletos Hagar and Margie Iona Lewis Hagar Johnson; step father, Harry Johnson.
Sterling is survived by her husband Bob Sterling; sons Brad Sterling and wife Janet, Bruce Sterling and wife B.J.; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and other family and many friends.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022, at Ash Grove Cemetery, Ash Grove.
