Dorris K. Murray

Dorris K. Murray, 95, of Ash Grove, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019.
Murray, the daughter of Henry Haven and Faye Johnson Wagner, was born in Ash Grove, on July 13, 1923. Dorris and Richard Murray were united in mar-
riage on Dec. 4, 1943 and shared over 75 years together.
Murray enjoyed spending time working in her flower beds, garden- ing, painting, knitting, crocheting, and doing needlepoint. She was the Ash Grove First Baptist Church sec- retary for 25 years and worked as secretary at the vet clinic. Dorris was known for her exceptional penman- ship. She loved her family and spending time with them.
Murray is survived by her husband, Richard Murray of the home; nephew, Donnie Wagner and wife Rosy of Ash Grove; nieces, Connie Stacey and husband Mike of Ash Grove, Sandra Edgington and husband Bob of Columbia, Peggy Owen and husband Doug of Ash Grove; great nieces and nephews, Anne Edgington, Tyson and Jessica Wagner, Cory and Beth Stacey, Cody and Tina Stacey, Piper and Wesley Leigh, Parker Owen; great-great nieces and nephews; Elizabeth, Connor, Presley, Caleb, Chase, Allie, Cailyn, Olivia; cousins, other family and many friends.
Murray was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Morris Wagner.
Graveside services will be Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 11 a.m. in Ash Grove Cemetery, Ash Grove.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be left in Murray’s name to Integrity Hospice and may be left at the funeral home. Arrangements under the direction of Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove.
