Erma Ruth Ellington Crowder

Erma Ruth Ellington Crowder, 87, of Willard, passed away, on Wednesday, May 15, 2019.
Crowder, the daughter of Lester and Mary Catherine Ellington, was born in Orange County, Calif., on Nov. 15, 1931. On April 26, 1955, Erma and Robert E. Crowder, Jr. were united in marriage and to this union five children were born.
Crowder loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren.
Crowder was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings.
Crowder is survived by her children, Robert E. Crowder III and his wife Pat of Holyoke, Colo., John Crowder of Golden, Colo., Charles Crowder of Willard, Joseph Crowder of Wynne, Ark., Carolyn Brooks and her husband Mike of Willard; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
Graveside services were at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at the Springfield National Cemetery, 1702 E. Seminole St., Springfield, MO 65804.
Arrangements under the direction of Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove.
