Ernest ‘Jack’ Huddleson

Ernest “Jack” Huddleson, 95, of the Orient area passed away on Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, at the Good Samaritan Society in Fontanelle.

 Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield with burial in the Hill of Zion Cemetery, rural Orient at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, 2016.  A luncheon will be held on Thursday immediately following the service at the Greenfield United Methodist Church.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com.

 Open visitation will be held at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield on Wednesday from 12-8 p.m.

The family will greet friends on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, from 6-8 p.m. at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield.

 Memorials may be directed to the Jack Huddleson memorial fund to be established at a later date.

He is survived by his children, Charles Huddleson and wife Monica of Orient, Dixie Shinkle and husband John of Orient, Ernest “Cork” Huddleson and wife Tommie of Bremen, Alabama, and Roxann Huddleson of California; sister Creola Blackwell of Creston; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
