Esther Lea (Day) Calton

Esther Lea (Day) Calton, 95, Republic, passed away Jan. 13, 2021. She was born July 15, 1925 in Conway, to Ivan and Georgia (Forgey) Day. She graduated from Conway High School. She was blessed with four daughters, Sherri, Mona, Brenda and Karan. In her later years she worked as a seamstress. The things she loved in life were her grandchildren, gardening, sewing and traveling.She is survived by her four daughters, Sherri (Jerry) Winters, Mona Whittle, Brenda Bailey, Karan (William) Zahm, one sister; Colleen Legan and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life was held at 1 p.m. Jan. 18, 2021 at Meadors Funeral Home, Republic, with burial following at Graham Cemetery.
