EULA CHRISTINE "CHRIS" HUDSON

Eula Christine “Chris” Hudson, 99, of Aldrich passed away on Monday, March 6. She was born on March 11, 1923, to Charles and Elsie (Williams) Crook.
On Oct. 26, 1941, she married Keith “Gene” Hudson. They were married for over 77 years before he passed away in 2019.
Hudson enjoyed life on the farm with the cows and growing vegetables. She was actively involved with Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and YMCA while her boys were young. She loved being involved with the Women’s Group of Eudora.
She is survived by sons, Douglas Hudson and wife Carol and Charles Hudson and wife Renee; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; as well as other extended family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gene; and siblings Mitchel Crook, Noble Crook, and Beatrice Wilson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 11, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove with burial at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Aldrich.  
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Hudson’s name to Pleasant Ridge Cemetery or Eudora Baptist Church and may be left with the funeral home.
