FRANCES ARNDT

Frances Arndt, 80, of Republic passed away on Oct. 25, 2024. She was born on in Purdy on March 3, 1944; the daughter of Willie and Faye (Decocq) Herrel.
She graduated in 1962 from Purdy High School.
On June 8, 1968, she married Bob Arndt. She worked as a secretary at Republic High School for over 20 years and after retiring from the Republic School System, she worked in the fabric department at Walmart. She was an organ donor, and her gift will help many people. She was a longtime member of Blades Chapel Church. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bob; daughters, Pam (Brian) Cline and Brenda (Chris) Rackers; two grandchildren; her brother, Bill Herrel; as well as other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara Moonen.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Nov. 1, at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic with burial at Smart Cemetery in Clever.
