Gary Wayne Johnson

Gary Wayne Johnson, 58, of Lockwood, passed away Jan. 6, 2022, from heart complications.
He was born to parents Ken and Carol (Mills) Johnson in Springfield, on March 4, 1963. In February 1986, he married Brenda (Rush) Johnson, they shared over 35 years together.

In March 2001, he began working for IBEW.

Johnson is survived by his wife, Brenda Johnson; mother Carol Tuck; brother Mike Johnson and wife Carrie; children, Brandy Johnson and husband Kyle, Charles “Bear” Mitchell and wife Stephanie, Kenny Johnson, Keith Johnson and wife Hannah; eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

Johnson is preceded in death by his father, Ken Johnson.

Visitation was from 5-7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 10, 2022, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Funeral services were at 2 p.m, Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, with burial following at Ray Springs Cemetery, Everton.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to American Heart Association and may be left at the funeral home.
