Helen Lorraine Beeson

Helen Lorraine Beeson, 72, of Ash Grove, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield. She was born Dec. 21, 1946, in St. Louis, the daughter of Henry C. Sissom and Thelma Louise (Grenia) Sissom Johnson.
Beeson loved being outdoors, cooking, gardening, and going to the casino.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Beeson; a daughter, Nicole Thatcher; a grandson, Thomas Ervin; her parents; four brothers, Norman, Wayne, Charlie, and Allen Sissom; a half-brother, Lindell Herrain; and her “baby,” a Pomeranian dog named Alley.
Beeson is survived by her longtime soulmate, Rick Hicks; her sons and their spouses, Steve Anderson, Tim and Kim Anderson, David and Lisa Anderson, Roger and Shelly Wilcox, Bret and Michele Hicks, and Shannon Hicks; 10 grandchildren; many other step children, and step grandchildren; five sisters, Virginia (Lonnie Cummings) Steadman, Darlene Killough, Lillian (Lowell) Curtis, Geraldine Sissom, and Brenda Midkiff; and a host of many more family and friends.  
A visitation was from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019 in Meadors Funeral Home, Republic. A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date. Family and friends may share online condolences at www.meadorsfuneralhome.com.
