HOLLY JEANETTE MCQUERREY

Holly Jeanette McQuerrey, 64, of Republic passed away on Friday, Aug. 9, 2024 after a difficult battle with a rare neurological disease that took her too quickly from this world. She was born in Garden Grove, Calif. on Nov. 26, 1959; the third of four children born to Melvin and Shirley (Brown) Whiteman. Two more siblings were added to the family when her mother remarried in 1963.
She attended 13 different schools before graduating from West Plains in 1977.
She was blessed with one daughter, Stephanie before meeting and marrying Kenneth McQuerrey in December of 1980, and with him she gained three sons, Kenny, Charlie and Guy.
She graduated from Drury University with an associate’s degree in business in 1993.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Kenneth; daughter, Stephanie (Jason) Daniels; mother, Shirley Branson; stepsons: Kenny (Julie) McQuerrey, Charlie (Michelle) McQuerrey and Guy McQuerrey; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; her sisters, Becky Middleton and Teresa Glaspy; her brother, Russell (Miranda) Branson; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Whiteman; stepfather, Warren Branson; and two brothers, Phillip Whiteman and Lee Branson.
A celebration life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Republic.
