Irma C. Burton

Irma C. Burton, “Granny B”, 105, Billings, passed away Oct. 26, 2020. She
was born Dec. 1, 1914 in Billings to John and Ida (Hutter) Trogdon.
Burton graduated from Billings High School and then went on to study at
Southwest Missouri Teachers College where she received her teaching
degree. She was one of the lucky ones to have taught in a one room
schoolhouse.
Burton is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Irene Couch and
Willa Maye Greene.
She is survived by her daughter Kaye Crawford, her four grandchildren, and
numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services under the direction of Meadors Funeral Home, Republic,
was at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, 2020 at Rose Hill Cemetery, Billings.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Republic Nursing and
Rehabilitation Activities Department or to the Westside Baptist Church in
Republic.
