James “Jim” Curtis Killingsworth

James “Jim” Curtis Killingsworth was born at home in Ash Grove, Sept. 4, 1943.
He passed away Oct. 7, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents Curtis and Omel (Miller) Killingsworth, his brother Dale Killingsworth, sister Nina Brame, daughter Bonnie, two grandsons, and a great-grandson. He is survived by his wife Patricia Killingsworth, his daughter Piper Tucker, son Brad Hatch (Dina), daughter Ginger Cashio (Scott), son Michael Killingsworth, son Chris Killingsworth (Mendy), 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two nieces, other family and friends.
Killingsworth was born in Ash Grove and attended Ash Grove schools. He was saved and baptized at Ash Grove First Baptist Church in 1955. He served two years in the United States Navy. In 1971, he married Patricia Cox and together they raised three kids on their farm in Ash Grove. He worked as a farmer and had several hobbies throughout his life.
In lieu of flowers, make a donation to the charity of your choice. A graveside service with military honors will be held in Ash Grove Cemetery at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021. Services under the direction of Birch Funeral Home, Ash Grove.
