Jane, “Janie” (Davis) Kuehn

Jane, “Janie” (Davis) Kuehn, 67, of Republic, passed away on Friday, Feb. 22, 2019. Kuehn was born Dec. 4, 1951, to Warren and Mabel Davis, who precede her in death.
She was a lifelong resident of Republic, with the exception of time she spent doing her residency in Joplin. She retired from nursing in 1987, following an
eye injury. In later years, she owned Courtesy Bail Bonds.
An avid gardener, she dearly en- joyed growing produce and love all critters great and small, especially, baby lambs. She had mastered the lost art of canning and preserving, sharing with everyone. Kuehn was an active member of Hope Lutheran Church and served there in several capacities over the years.
Kuehn is survived by the most important person in her life, her son, Michael Joseph “Mikey” Kuehn; her siblings, Julie (Mark) Trout, Carl Davis (Tammy), all of Republic, and Chris Davis of Mt. Vernon; nephew, Justin (Sara) Trout and their children Isaac and Owen; niece Candice Davis and Chris Turley and their children Kagan and Quinn, and a multitude of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Also, special friends, Connie Pritchard, Laura Golliday, Laura Midcap and Lori Dale.
Funeral services for Kuehn were held Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church in Re- public, under the direction of Meadors Funeral Home.
