Jeffrey Charles Silvey

Jeffrey Charles Silvey, 45, of Billings, ended his fiercely fought battle with cancer on Feb. 4, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born March 27, 1975 in Springfield, to Jerry and Jeanetta (Johnson) Silvey.
Silvey grew up in Ava, with his brother Nathan, working on the family farm. He married Sherry Shoenberger on Dec. 15, 1998 and this union was blessed with two children, Garrett and Kennedy. Jeff, Sherry and the kids started their family business, J & S Silvey Cattle Co. in 2003, continuing his love of farming. Silvey worked as a business manager at Mayse Automotive in Aurora for 21 years until his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his father Jerry Silvey.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Sherry, his children; Garrett Silvey and Kennedy Silvey all of Billings, his mother; Jeanetta Silvey of Ava, brother; Nathan Silvey and his wife Angie of Ozark, as well as other extended family and countless friends.
A celebration of life will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021 in Meadors Funeral Home, Republic. Burial will take place at a later date at Rose Hill West Cemetery, Billings.
