Jerry Leslie Letterman

Jerry Leslie Letterman, of Clever, passed away Sun- day, May 12, 2019 in Cox South Hospital, Springfield. He was born July 30, 1944, in Springfield, the son of Paul Leslie and Pauline Isabelle (Agee) Letterman.
Letterman was employed with the old Zenith plant in Springfield; and also, had worked for Sunkist in California. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and football. He attended the Hurley Church of God in Hurley.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Chloella Irene (Ho- sler) Letterman, on Dec. 25, 2012; and his parents.
Letterman is survived by his children and their spouses, Kyle and Leanne Letterman of Australia, Scotty and Lisa Letterman, Blue Springs, and Brandy Letterman, Clever; four grandchildren, Dexter, Preston, Brooklyn and Tiffany; and many other family members and friends.
A graveside service for Letterman and his beloved wife, Chloella, was at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2019, in Wright Cemetery, south of Clever, with Pastor Jess Roberds officiating, under the direction of Meadors Funeral Home, Republic, Missouri.
