JERRY LYNN BURK

Jerry Lynn Burk, 84, passed away on Nov. 8. He was born to Kirk Efton Burk and Bonnie Mae (Murray) Burk, on Nov. 24, 1937, in Barry County. Burk married Eva Opal Johnson on Dec. 24, 1954. To this union were born three children.
His dedication to care for Eva, his wife of almost 68 years, was evident in the devotion to provide her daily needs.
Burk is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Eva, of Marionville; sons Eddie and his wife Marian, of Marionville, Bruce and his wife Brenda, of Hurley; daughter Janie Terrell and her husband Mike, of Hermitage; sisters, Judy Lee, of Republic and Sally Reavis of Crane; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic. The service followed with burial at Mars Hill Cemetery in Crane.
