Jimmy “Jim” Lyle Callison

Jimmy “Jim” Lyle Callison, 68, of Republic, passed away Oct. 5, 2018, at his home. He was born July 21, 1950, in Anthony, Kan. to Glenn and Maxine (Carrithers) Callison.
Callison enjoyed the rodeo, riding broncs and bulls for years. When not rodeoing, he rode horses, horse raced and fished. He was always trying to “aggravate” people around him to get a laugh.
Callison is survived by: his mother; significant other, Esther Norman; daughter, Brandy (Mike) Winkles; son, Shane Callison; step-children, Angela Baker, Jon Mullen, and Thomas (Dana Helm) Mullen; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister Linda (Wes) Stueve; and a host of family. He was preceded in death by: his father and a sister, Beverly Callison.
