John Harry Bryson

John Harry Bryson, 70, passed away on May 16, 2020 in Bentonville. He was the first born and arrived on May 15, 1949, in Barker, N.Y. to the late Leroy and Marion (Channel) Bryson. He was the loving husband of Leona Bryson.
Bryson was a Vietnam War veteran. He attended the New Hope Baptist Church in Rogers.
Bryson attended a one-room school in Holdon, where he was nicknamed “Professor”. He always knew the right answers and gave advice to other students when needed. He graduated from Miller High School, R2. He was baptized in Goose Creek close to where he grew up.
Bryson was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William Bryson.
Bryson is survived by his wife, Leona; daughter, Zoe Bryson; son, Johnathan Bryson; brothers, Tom Bryson (Laurie) of Republic, Joe Bryson (Grace), of Boaz, and Frank Bryson of Republic; sisters, Mary Lee Richardson of Mt. Vernon, and Fran Daily of Nixa.
Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home.
