Joseph “Cord” Schletzbaum

Joseph “Cord” Schletzbaum, 30, of Dadeville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 2. He was born on Jan. 21, 1993, in Bolivar, to Thomas and Angela (Clark) Schletzbaum.  
He enjoyed working on vehicles and was very mechanically minded. He was the youngest in the state of Missouri to get an inspector’s license at the age of 16.
He is survived by parents, Tom and Angie Schletzbaum; children, Addisyn Haymond and Ryver Bretz-Schletzbaum; siblings, Rachel Schletzbaum and her fiancé Jessie Toler and Colt Schletzbaum and his wife Melissa; grandmother, Ronda Clark; great-grandmother, Beverly Johnson; grandfather, Ron Brawley; as well as other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Zelma Schletzbaum, Lonnie Clark, Margaret Brawley and Larry Johnson.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, at Dadeville Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 16, at Sinking Creek Cemetery in Everton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made  to Addisyn and Ryver’s college fund.
