Lady Tigers golf does well at MSU Relays, readies for upcoming season ending tournaments

In girls golf, the Lady Tigers traveled to Springfield on Thursday, Sept. 26, to take part in the Missouri State Relays and came home with an eighth place finish.
Willard shot 414 as a team, with Haylee Bogner leading the way with a 96;
Megan Mahan shot a 98, Madi Mills finished with a 106, Raelyn Schackelford shot a 114 and Hadley Jarvis hit the clubhouse with a 115.
“Today was a much bet- ter day for us,” said head coach Matt Stone. “We had really been struggling the past couple of weeks so it was nice to see the girls play more towards their capabil- ity today. Hopefully we can use this as momentum going into the COC and district tournaments the next two weeks.”
