Larry Dale Henbest

Larry Dale Henbest, 74, of Cassville passed away Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2020 at his home.
He was born July 26, 1946 in Cassville, the son of Roger and Clarice (Wooten) Henbest. On Dec. 3, 1976 in Rolla, he was united in marriage to Vicky Riley, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Dale Henbest of Republic; one daughter, Jan Robidou and her husband Bruce of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister, Deanna Jenkins and her husband Jim of Springfield, and three grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Henbest grew up and received his education in Cassville and was a 1964 graduate of Cassville High School. He was a lifelong farmer and was also a brick mason. For 21 years he was pastor of Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Cassville, where he was a longtime
member. He enjoyed Southern Gospel music and was a concert promoter for several years. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, 2020 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
Brother Bob Gaddis, Brother Larry Lovvorn and Brother Billie Chesshir conducted the services. Burial will be at Horner Cemetery in Cassville. The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
Contributions may be made to the Missions Program at Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in memory of Henbest.
