Lester Carl Davis

Lester Carl Davis, 76, of Walnut Grove passed away suddenly of a heart attack Jan. 22, 2019, at Cox Medi- cal Center in Springfield.
He was born Aug. 21, 1942, to Sidney and Naomi Davis in Reeds Springs. He worked his entire life tire- lessly. He donated work to many causes and a helping hand to those in need.
Davis is survived by: his wife Drusilla; sister, Mag- gie; brother, Leon Davis; daughter, Glenda (Toodles) and Russell Fellers; sons, Michael, Terry and Johnny Davis Sr.; step-children Chuck Bryant, Teresa Davis, John Eagleburger and Tracy Shantel Shaffer; 21 grand- children; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Davis was preceded in death by: his parents; sisters, Delta, Ruth, Carolyn, Janeva and Alberta; brothers, Roy, Norman, Van Clyde, Junior, Grover and Albert; step-sons, Tommy Bryant and Gene Eagleburger.
Services were held Saturday Feb. 2, 2019, at the Faith Apostolic Church in Springfield under the direc- tion of Birch Funeral Home in Ash Grove.
