Linda Kay (Bargsley) Wright
Linda passed peacefully November 10, 2019 surrounded by family after battling kidney failure. She is survived by her sons, Clyde Wright and wife Jacklyn of Greenfield, MO; Tom Wright and wife Paula of Republic, MO; grandchildren Kristina and husband Marc Nettles, Bradley Wright, Jason Wright all of Republic, MO; and Courtney Wright, Colorado Springs, CO; 4 great-grandchildren Kayvin, Maison, and Greyson Nettles and Landon Wright; her brother Clyde Bargsley and wife Verna, Grand Prairie, TX; nephews and nieces; and her best friend Jo Morehart, Mt. Vernon, MO.
Linda was born June 14, 1941 in Ranger, TX to Lewis and Bertie Lee (Colley) Bargsley. She graduated from Grand Prairie High School, Grand Prairie, TX in 1959 and attended Arlington College. She married Richard Wright in August 1960 who preceded her in death. She worked for many years for Fidelity Union Life Insurance in Dallas, TX before becoming a school librarian. She was active in the Oklahoma City Women’s Choir and enjoyed music all her life. Later in life she was a hospice volunteer. She moved to Republic, MO to be closer to her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with family. She was always in for a good laugh and shared a smile with everyone.
Memorial services were held at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Monett, MO where Linda was interred.
