MARGARET JANE GOSSETT

Margaret Jane Gossett, 81, of Ash Grove passed away on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023, at her home. She was born July 26, 1942, in Miller, the daughter of John and Ernestine (Hunter) Pendergrass.
She was a 1960 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School in Mt. Vernon. On May 29, 1961, she married Gary L. Gossett, in Ash Grove.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gary; two sons, Gary W. (Debbie) Gossett of Ash Grove and Shannon (Gerry) Gossett of Greenfield; two sisters, Patty (Norris) Cornell of Stotts City and Connie Brown of Everton; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents; one great-grandson and one brother-in-law, Dan Brown.
No services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
