Mary Jane Blake

Mary Jane Blake passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Blake was born in Bois D’Arc to Ruby Gail Forshee. She attended Eagle School in Sacville for eight years.
She met the love of her life, Warren Blake, at Rose Hill Baptist Church and it all started with a wink across the church! They married on June 28, 1945 and shared 76 loving years together.
Blake did everything from raise three lively kids on a farm, work shoulder to shoulder with Warren working cattle, putting up hay, feeding work crews, usually with pretty red painted fingernails, to traveling this beautiful country coast to coast camping in a van or behind Warren on a motorcycle.
Blake leaves behind her daughter, Patty Burr and her husband Ray, daughter-in-law Nancy Blake; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Blake is preceded in death by her mother Gail Forshee and brother Gerald Forshee, her husband Warren Blake and her sons Keith Blake and David Blake, and great-grandson RJ Feeler.
Service were at Rose Hill Baptist Church north of Willard, with Pastor Tom McClain officiating and Pastor Charles Jackson assisting. Interment was at Rose Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Willard PAL Camp Character through Mid-Missouri Bank.
