Nancy Ann W. Woodman

Nancy Ann W. Woodman, 98, of Republic passed away peacefully on Aug. 22, 2022. She was born Feb. 27, 1924, in Evansville, Ind. to William and Elizabeth (Scoville) Winslow.
Woodman received a Bachelor of Arts in English, attending both Stephen’s College and Evansville College. After graduating she married Max Hartley on June 1, 1947, after Max returned from WWII. They were married 10 years.
On Jan. 15, 1958, she married Russell K. Woodman, and they shared 35 years together. During the war, she worked at both Republic Aviation and the Junior League. She was an active member of her church for over 53 years. Woodman was a volunteer at the Republic Pregnancy Care Center from 2009-2018, even having “Nan’s Place” named after her for her years of dedicated service.
Woodman is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Max and Russell, a brother and two sons, Keith and Scott.
Left to mourn her passing are her sons, Dolph and Duffy, daughter Wendy of Republic, daughter Faye of Evansville, Ind., daughters Vicki, Troy and Michelle of Calif.; 24 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren, as well as other extended family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, from 3-5 p.m. at Destiny Church (526 Harrison, Republic, MO) with Pastor Chad Blansit leading the celebration. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Republic Pregnancy Care Center in Woodman’s memory.
