Nathan Hunter Gold

Nathan Hunter Gold was born June 26, 1973, to Denny and Sandy (Cunningham) Gold. He departed his earthly life Jan. 19, 2020, leaving behind his family and a host of friends and coworkers.
Gold graduated from Walnut Grove High School in 1992. He loved racing bikes, motorcycles, go-carts and dirt track stockcars. He became well known in the area for his driving skills.
Gold was employed by City Utilities and he loved his many friends there.
He had several surgeries and back issues from injuries over the years which lead to severe chronic pain during the last year. This made it almost impossible to do his loved activities.
Gold was saved in 2009 and was a member of Evergreen Church in Willard.
Gold is survived by his parents, Denny and Sandy Gold, Walnut Grove; maternal grandparents, Glen and Ruby Cunningham, Nixa; son, Staff Sergeant Levi Gold and wife Lacey, Fort Mitchell, Ala.; daughter Taylor Gold, Walnut Grove; brother, Jonathan Gold, Republic; special friend and ex-wife, Ginger Gold, Walnut Grove; and his beloved dog Chance. He had a host of aunts and uncles including: Dwain and Mary Jo Gold, Brenda Gold Rantz, Glenna Vanderhoof, Jean and Jim Kilburn, Allen and Connie Cunningham, Mark Newberry, Paula and Jack Reynolds, and Rev. Mark and Sandra Zimmerman.
Gold was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Edna Dee Gold; aunt, Debby Emerson; and uncle, Rev. Jim Rantz.
Visitation was from 4-6 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020 at Sac River Cowboy Church Event Center, Springfield. Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 27, 2020 at Sac River Cowboy Church, with burial following in Frazier Cemetery, Boaz.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Nathan Gold Memorial Fund and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, c/o Nathan Gold Memorial Fund, PO Box 217, Ash Grove, MO 65604.
