PAUL DEAN BLEDSOE

Paul Dean Bledsoe, 83, of Springfield passed away on Dec. 10, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 29, 1940, to Oris “Clyde” and Loretta (Myers) Bledsoe.
He grew up in northern Greene County and graduated from Fair Grove High School in 1958.
He was married to Effie Jane Mason on July 21, 1961, at Mt. Comfort Church in Springfield and they were married for 62 years.
He was employed with several manufacturing companies and retire
He is survived by his wife, Effie; sons, Brad (Elizabeth) of Springfield, Kelly of Springfield, and Terry (Lori) of Willard; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Glenn, Otis, Mary Sue, and Bertha Ann.
The visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Dec. 13, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North in Springfield. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Dec. 14, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Springfield, Missouri.
