Raymond E. Hardman

Raymond E. Hardman, 91, of Willard, passed peacefully early Wednesday morning July 28, 2021, at the Ash Grove Healthcare Facility.
Hardman was born in Willard, Oct. 12, 1929, and was a lifelong resident of the Willard area. He was united in marriage to Mary Frances Davis in 1953. He owned and operated Hardman Auto Parts and Hardware in Willard, until his retirement. He was a member of Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church of Willard and was a veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harrison and Lena (Knox) Hardman, brothers Harold Hardman and Tom Hardman, and sisters Helen Simmons and Betty Sue Young.
Hardman is survived by his wife Mary F. Hardman of Willard, and three sons Michael R. Hardman of Springfield, Mark A. Hardman of Nixa, and Max E. (Angela) Hardman of Everton.
He is also survived by a grandson, and a great-granddaughter, several nieces and nephews.
Services are being handled by Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home of Ash Grove. Graveside services will be officiated by Dr. John Nipper at 1 p.m. Aug. 4, 2021, Wesley Cemetery in Willard.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church in Willard, or Disabled American Veterans.
