Republic’s Nambara Medals in Cross-Country Opener

The Republic girls cross country team placed three runners inthetop50outof a 230-runner field at the first meet of the season– the SWCCA Cross-Country Invite in Bolivar. Sophomore Mihane Nambara earned a medal, finishing 13th overall, with a time
of 20:17.79. Aaliyah Vasquez finished 42nd and Jasmyn Douglas was 50th. The Republic girls finished 18th out of a 29-team field.
The boys’ top finisher was Ethan Haynes, a sophomore, who finished with a time of 18:40.01.
