Republic’s Woods earns area MVP honor

The Springfield Quarterback Club honored Republic quarterback Wyatt Woods with the area Offensive Most Valuable Player Award for 2023. Woods has rushed for 925 yards this season, averaging more than seven yards per carry. He’s also passed for 591 yards and has accounted for 19 touchdowns through the air or on the ground. Woods has led Republic to an 8–2 record this season so far.
