Republic Business and Community Women Seeking Nominations for Republic's Woman of the Year

The Republic Business and Community Women’s organization is seeking nominations of women in the Republic area who go above and beyond in their daily work and community involvement.
RBCW has named the “Woman of the Year” for more than 15 years. Nominees need not be a member of RBCW and members of the community are encouraged to nominate women whom they believe are portraying excellence in their chosen profession and/or community commitment.
The goal of RBCW is to provide a forum for women to network, educate, and mentor each other as they strive to make Republic a stronger community for everyone. RBCW awards three scholarships each spring:  one to a graduating senior, one to a non-traditional student, and the newest scholarship, the Billy Ray Halfacre Scholarship for a student planning to attend College of the Ozarks. RBCW meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of each month, generally at the Republic Library.
The Woman of the Year will be named at RBCW’s December meeting/gift auction. Nomination forms are available from Deb Demanche at The Bank of Missouri, Mary Jackson at the Republic Pregnancy Resource Center, or by sending an e-mail request to republicbcw@gmail.com. Nominations are due by Friday, Nov. 16.
