Republic volleyball splits COC matches

The Lady Tigers volleyball team won its first conference win of the year on the road Tuesday. Republic knocked off Neosho 25–21, 26–24. Rylee Moseman turned in a big performance, leading the team in three categories. Moseman had eight kills to power Republic’s office, and she also led the Lady Tigers with 10 digs. In addition, she dished out 16 assists. Abby McKee had two service aces for Republic, who improved to 2–6–3 overall. The Lady Tigers are 1–0 in conference play. Carl Junction swept Republic in a Central Ozark Conference matchup Thursday, 25–19, 25–12. The Lady Tigers dropped their first conference match of the year, falling to 1–1 in league play. Republic is 2–7–3 overall. Carle Ward led Republic with six kills. Rylee Moseman had nine assists for Republic. Emma Pearce and Abby McKee each contributed three service aces.
