RETHAL MAY “JACK” CURBOW”

Rethal May Curbow, better known as “Jack”, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024, at the age of 89. She was born in Bois D’Arc on Aug. 2, 1935, the oldest of four siblings born to Howard and Jessie Rachel (Keith) Allhands
She graduated from Republic High School.
On Wednesday, June 15, 1956, she married Willie Joe Curbow.
She is survived by her daughter Vicki Edwards and husband Jim, grandchildren, Summer Edwards, Alex Edwards, Taylor (Garrett) Pruitt, Casey (Davinaa) Curbow and Tyler (Allie) Curbow, great grandchildren, Callum Curbow and Olivia James Curbow, siblings Eugene Allhands, Sharon Gugel and Rex Allhands, as well as other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Joe; and her son, David Curbow.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, Aug. 23, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Meadors Funeral Home in Republic.
