RHS volleyball coach Piper Wright resigns

On Thursday, Nov. 15, the Republic School District Board of Education accepted the resignation of Republic High School volleyball coach, Piper Wright. Coach Wright indicated that her decision to step down was due to her need to focus on her expanding family, as she will be having a baby in January.
Wright has been the head volleyball coach for Republic High School for eight years. She also serves as the Sweeny Elementary PE teacher, a role she will continue.
The Republic School District will begin seeking candidates to fill this coaching position beginning in late November.
