Richard Brown

Richard Brown, 89, of Cape Fair, passed away on Oct. 18, 2019. He was born on Nov. 28, 1929 in Salem, Ore., to Glenn Raymond and Mary E. (Algire) Brown.
Brown was an educator by profession and an out- standing science teacher and school principal. He began his teaching career in a one room schoolhouse south of Marshfield, and completed
his teaching career in the Republic school system. In his long teaching career, Brown taught science in many places, including; Galena, where he was the school principal, and St. Agnes Catholic School in Springfield.
Brown was preceded in death by his parents.
Brown is survived by his sisters, Mary Lou Russell of Panhandle, Texas, and Martha Johnston (Darrel), of Billings; nieces, Mary Jane Henson (Danny), Lu Ann Hudson (Mark), and Linda McCroskey (David); great-nieces, great-nephews and his very special friends, Kenneth and Linna Jean Es- sary and family.
Visitation was from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019 in Meadors Funeral Home, Billings. Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 21, 2019, in Rose Hill Cemetery, Billings.
In lieu of flowers the family requests Memorial con- tributions be made to the Rose Hill Cemetery, Billings, in care of the cemetery. Family and friends may share online condolences at www.meadorsfuneralhome.com.
