RICHARD WAYNE RINGGENBERG
Richard Wayne Ringgenberg, 86, of Everton passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023. He was born June 30, 1937, in Springfield, to Enos and Grace (Carlson) Ringgenberg. On Feb. 22, 1963, Wayne and Betty Hall were united in marriage and shared over 57 years together before Betty’s passing in 2020.
Ringgenberg was a lifelong area resident. After his time in the military, Wayne and Betty opened Wayne’s Garage, later known as Wayne’s Automotive in Everton. He restored Model A and Model T and was a member of Heart of the Ozarks Chapter of the Model T Ford Club and Flatland Model T Club in Wichita, Kan.
Ringgenberg was preceded in death by his parents, Enos and Grace Ringgenberg; wife, Betty Ringgenberg; brothers, Ervin Ringgenberg and Don Ringgenberg.
Ringgenberg is survived by several nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
Visitation was 12:30- 2:30 p.m., Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Graveside services were at 3 p.m., Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Sinking Creek Cemetery, Everton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Sinking Creek Cemetery and can be left at the funeral home.
