Robert Armin Hays

Robert Armin Hays, 54, Springfield, formerly of Clever, passed away Jan. 24, 2020 after a difficult battle with esophageal cancer.
Hays was born May 29, 1965 and graduated from Clever High School in 1983. He joined the US Army following graduation, eventually serving in Desert Storm. Following 9/11, he became an employee of TSA, at Springfield Branson Airport where he remained until his health difficulties.
Hays was preceded in death by his step-father Sam Adams. He is survived by his loving mother, JoAnn Hays Adams, as well as aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. Memorial services were held at Meadors Funeral Home, 314 N Main Ave, Republic on Friday Jan. 31, 2020 at 1 p.m. with a private burial following.
