Robert Joe Nicholson

Robert Joe Nicholson, 79, of Ash Grove passed away Friday, April 1, 2022. He was born Dec. 12, 1942, in Springfield, to Robert Lyman and Francis (Burgess) Nicholson. On Oct. 1, 1961, Robert and Shirley Manuel were united in marriage and shared over 59 years together, before Shirley passed away in 2021.   

Nicholson was a loving and caring father, grandfather and husband.

Nicholson is survived by his son, Robert Nicholson II and wife Terri; three grandchildren, twp great-grandchildren; brothers Larry Nicholson, Paul Nicholson; nieces, nephews, other family, and many friends.

Nicholson is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Shirley.

Graveside services were at 4 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2022, at Johns Chapel Cemetery, Ash Grove.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove.
